Legal Fees

We handle negligence cases on a "Contingency Fee" basis. This means that we ONLY get paid IF we recover money ("damages") on your behalf. Our fees are set by Connecticut law One-Third of the 1st $300,000.00 that we recover for you, with a DOWNWARD sliding scale should we recover more than that amount for you.

Also, we dont ask you for any expense money. We advance all expenses of your case for you, for example, the cost of obtaining your medical records and reports, Court costs and other similar expenses directly related to your case, for which we are reimbursed at the time that your case resolves, by settlement or by arbitration award or Jury verdict.

Note that your net monetary recovery for personal physical injuries will be "tax-free" to you for federal income tax purposes, since it will represent damages for "pain & suffering," which damages are not viewed as taxable income under the Internal Revenue Code.
